Westmount Community League
AVID completed an extensive review of the existing Westmount Community League hall and skate change facility. This review included a detailed building code and life safety analysis for both buildings, an elemental analysis outlining components and critical repairs, as well as high-level cost and risk analysis of several potential scenarios for redeveloping the community-owned facilities.
During the information-gathering phase we interviewed members of the community and those involved with the hall maintenance, rental, and planning. A survey was distributed, and the results were tabulated to develop a broad understanding of what members of the community were looking for in this facility. The final report provided to the Community League provided them with the information required to make an informed decision about the future of their space.
