Garneau Professional Centre
The Garneau Professional Centre is a five storey building that houses the central Edmonton offices of the Alberta Justice & Solicitor General’s youth community corrections program. AVID was tasked with splitting the program along functional lines over two floors: fitting up a new second floor space, then undertaking multi-phased renovations to the existing fifth floor while the offices remained operational. This project involved working with multiple levels of government to assess needs, determine available resources, and design secure office spaces that continued to function well despite being split across two floors of the building.
