Ardour Arbour Pavilion
AVID designed the Ardour Arbour pavilion for the Ignite Festival, a three-day event at Edmonton’s Shaw Conference Centre hosted by Edmonton Economic Development. The pavilion sought to be a creative and innovative environment for the festival’s workshops, talks, and other activities.
By weaving together wood, glass, plants, people, light, and sound, Ardour Arbour was a nexus of contrasts: natural and human-made, delicate and robust, seen and unseen. Great ideas arise when and where you least expect them, at the collision of previously unconnected people, places, thoughts, and things. We created a purpose-built nest for creativity and innovation: an ideal environment for learning about, sharing, and building bold ideas.
